Technologies We Use for Cloud & DevOps
Our default Sao Paulo stack is Kubernetes on EKS or AKS, Terraform for infrastructure, ArgoCD for GitOps, and Prometheus plus Grafana plus OpenTelemetry for observability, because that combination gives Sao Paulo teams a portable control plane that survives cloud-provider negotiations with Itau, Bradesco, or Banco do Brasil procurement. AWS sa-east-1 is the default landing spot for fintech and marketplace clients given the AWS South America head start (region opened 2011, Nubank and iFood reference architectures, broadest service availability in Latam). Azure Brazil South is preferred for Microsoft-aligned banking and insurance estates with existing EAs, paired with Brazil Southeast Rio for in-country DR. GCP southamerica-east1 wins for Google-native estates and pairs with southamerica-west1 Santiago for cross-Latam workloads where Spanish-language Latam estates need a Chilean foothold. Brazilian sovereign cloud (TIVIT, BR Digital) is engineered for the small subset of estates where LGPD risk-appetite or BCB residency interpretation excludes hyperscaler regions. ArgoCD and Terraform produce reproducible deploys that survive BCB inspection sampling, and Kubernetes network policies plus PrivateLink, Azure Private Link, and Cloud Interconnect keep regulated traffic off the public internet.
