Rapida · Delivery Service Platform
A high-performance delivery platform with real-time tracking and immersive 3D visualizations.
We build the parts of a SaaS platform that are boring to demo and expensive to retrofit. Multi-tenant data architecture comes first, and the choice between a pooled schema with Postgres row-level security, a schema-per-tenant model, and a fully siloed database per tenant is driven by your customer mix rather than fashion. If you intend to sell to UPMC or Highmark, at least one enterprise tier will demand isolation, so we design the pooled model to be able to promote a tenant into a silo without a data migration project. Subscription billing gets built as a real subsystem: plans, seats, usage metering, proration, mid-cycle changes, dunning, credit notes, and a revenue recognition export your accountant can reconcile without a spreadsheet. Identity gets built for enterprise from the start, meaning SAML and OIDC single sign-on, SCIM provisioning, and role-based access control with a permission model that an admin can reason about. Audit logging is tenant-scoped, immutable and exportable, because that is the first thing a security reviewer asks for. On top of that we build the analytics layer that tells you net dollar retention, gross retention, activation and expansion without a data engineer in the room, and a SOC 2 readiness package with the evidence collection already automated.
Discovery is a commercial conversation before it is a technical one. We want to know who the first ten paying customers are, what their procurement process looks like, and what will actually block the contract, because in this market the blocker is usually a security questionnaire rather than a missing feature. If your target list includes a health system, a bank or an insurer, we work backwards from their vendor review: SOC 2 Type II scope, HIPAA business associate agreement terms, penetration test cadence, subprocessor disclosure, data residency and breach notification timelines. That review shapes the architecture, so doing it in month one is much cheaper than doing it in month nine. Build runs in two-week sprints with a demo every second Thursday at 2:00 PM ET, which is noon Mountain Time for our Edmonton engineers, and a release cut at 3:00 PM ET the same day. The Chandigarh team picks up test automation, migration rehearsals and infrastructure work overnight, so the Friday build is already exercised when your team logs in. Every release goes out behind feature flags with a tenant-level rollout order, so a new capability reaches an internal tenant, then design partners, then the general population, and any single tenant can be rolled back without a deploy.
We validate your SaaS concept, define the MVP feature set, design the data model, and plan the technical architecture for scalable growth.

Pittsburgh SaaS platforms usually run primary infrastructure in AWS us-east-2 in Ohio with us-east-1 in Northern Virginia as the disaster recovery pair, or the reverse, since both are close enough to the city that latency never becomes an argument and far enough apart to satisfy a real recovery objective. What matters far more than which provider you pick is that the recovery objective is written down and rehearsed, because an enterprise security questionnaire will ask for your recovery time and recovery point objectives by number and will ask when you last tested them. The default application stack is TypeScript end to end: Next.js or Remix on the front end, NestJS or Fastify on the API, Postgres as the system of record with row-level security enforcing tenant boundaries at the database rather than in application code, and Redis for caching and rate limiting. Background and long-running work runs on Temporal or a queue-backed worker fleet, because subscription lifecycle events, provisioning and data imports all need retries and visibility. Billing sits on Stripe Billing for straightforward plans and Orb or Metronome where usage metering is genuinely complex. Identity sits on WorkOS, Auth0 or Clerk depending on how much enterprise SSO you need on day one. Infrastructure is Terraform with ECS Fargate or EKS. Observability is OpenTelemetry into Datadog, Grafana Cloud or Honeycomb, with per-tenant dimensions so you can answer which customer is having a bad day.
