The challenge
Logistics operators lose time to two things: dispatchers planning routes by hand, and customer service answering "where is my delivery". Both are solvable with the same location data if it is surfaced in the right places.
What we built
- Live vehicle positions on a MapBox interface, updating without a page refresh.
- Route planning that accounts for delivery windows and vehicle capacity rather than distance alone.
- A customer-facing tracking view, which removes the majority of status enquiries before they are made.
- Proof-of-delivery capture on mobile, tied back to the shipment record.
Outcome
Dispatchers plan from one screen and customers self-serve status, reducing the phone traffic that previously absorbed operations time.
