Rapida · Delivery Service Platform
A high-performance delivery platform with real-time tracking and immersive 3D visualizations.
We ship four categories of mobile work for Salt Lake City clients. Consumer applications cover the outdoor, retail, media, and marketplace products where the constraints are onboarding conversion, offline behavior, battery and data discipline, and now Utah's age category and parental consent obligations. Regulated applications cover patient-facing health apps, behavioral health and wellness apps subject to Utah's mental health chatbot law, and financial apps riding sponsor bank rails, where the security posture, audit logging, and disclosure surfaces matter more than the animation curve. Enterprise and field applications cover distributor portals, dealer and technician tools, inspection and maintenance apps, and warehouse and logistics apps along the I-15 corridor, where mobile device management, single sign-on, and offline data capture with reliable synchronization are the whole job. Platform modernization takes an existing app that has become unmaintainable, usually a hybrid build from years back, and either rebuilds it properly or migrates the parts worth keeping, which is a decision we make on evidence rather than on preference. Every engagement includes an app store compliance review covering Apple App Store Review Guidelines and Google Play policy, a data safety and privacy nutrition label mapping that matches what the app actually does, and a documented release and rollback process.
Discovery for a Salt Lake City app opens with a compliance and distribution review before any design work, because the answers change the product. We determine whether the app is directed to or likely to be used by minors, which pulls in COPPA and Utah SB 142 developer duties, whether any feature constitutes a mental health chatbot under Utah HB 452, whether protected health information is involved, and whether a bank partner will impose its own diligence. That review produces a written constraints document. Design and build then run in two-week sprints with a Thursday 2 PM Mountain Time demo on a real device rather than a simulator recording, which is straightforward because Edmonton shares your clock exactly and no one is calling in from the far side of the world. Chandigarh runs the overnight window against a device farm covering the iOS and Android version spread your analytics actually show, plus the older mid-range Android hardware that field and distributor users genuinely carry. Builds go to TestFlight and Google Play internal testing on every merge. Beta cohorts start narrow and widen on crash-free session rate rather than on calendar date. Release uses phased rollout on both platforms with a remote configuration kill switch on new features, so a bad release is a toggle rather than an emergency submission.
We analyze your target audience, competitors, and business goals to define the app's feature set, technology stack, and go-to-market strategy.
Our designers craft intuitive wireframes and high-fidelity prototypes following platform-specific design guidelines for iOS and Android.
Agile sprint-based development with bi-weekly demos. We integrate APIs, third-party services, analytics, and backend infrastructure.
Comprehensive testing across devices and OS versions including functional, performance, security, and user acceptance testing.
We handle App Store and Play Store submissions, configure analytics, set up crash reporting, and provide post-launch monitoring.
We build native when the app depends on platform capability or long-term performance, and cross-platform when the surface is mostly forms, lists, and content. Native iOS is Swift with SwiftUI and UIKit where SwiftUI still has gaps, and native Android is Kotlin with Jetpack Compose. Cross-platform work is React Native with the new architecture and TypeScript when a web team is sharing logic, or Flutter when the design demands identical rendering across platforms. Local persistence is SQLite through GRDB or Room, or WatermelonDB and Realm for larger offline datasets, with a conflict resolution strategy chosen deliberately rather than defaulting to last write wins. Backends run on Google Cloud us-west3 in Salt Lake City, which keeps API round trips short for Utah users and keeps data in-state for health and public sector work; Firebase services are configured to the same region where available. AWS-standardized clients run in us-west-2 with the Denver, Las Vegas, and Phoenix Local Zones for edge components. Push runs on APNs and Firebase Cloud Messaging. Authentication uses Sign in with Apple, Google, and enterprise OIDC through Okta or Auth0, with biometric sign-in and secure storage in Keychain and Android Keystore. Crash and performance monitoring runs on Sentry or Firebase Crashlytics, and CI runs on Fastlane with GitHub Actions or Bitrise.
