Cloud & DevOps Services We Offer in Seattle
Seattle clients arrive with cloud literacy that humbles most agencies. They know the difference between Aurora and RDS, they argue about Iceberg versus Delta Lake, and half of them have shipped a Lambda function in production. Our services match that bar. We design AWS multi-account landing zones using Control Tower, AWS Organizations, and Service Control Policies for clients running heavy in us-west-2. We build Azure platforms on Bicep and Azure Verified Modules for Redmond-adjacent enterprises with deep Microsoft 365 commitments. We ship Kubernetes (EKS, AKS, and self-managed clusters) with GitOps via Argo CD and Flux, observability on Datadog, OpenTelemetry, and Honeycomb, and SLO-driven on-call runbooks. Every engagement includes a FinOps baseline, a security review against CIS Benchmarks and AWS Well-Architected, and a documented disaster recovery plan with measured RTO and RPO.
Our Cloud & DevOps Development Process
We run discovery, design, build, and operate in Pacific hours so Seattle product, security, and SRE leads get synchronous standups and live incident response, not overnight tickets. Discovery opens with a current-state cloud audit (account topology, IAM blast radius, Terraform drift, cost anomalies, observability gaps) and a regulatory scoping pass against Washington's My Health My Data Act, HIPAA, FedRAMP boundary requirements, or CMMC 2.0 if Boeing supply chain is in scope. Build sprints are two weeks, reviewed against the AWS Well-Architected Framework and Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework. Production cutover happens behind feature flags and blue/green or canary deployments, never a Friday afternoon big bang. Handover includes runbooks, on-call rotations, and a thirty-day hypercare window where our SREs sit in your Slack and PagerDuty before we hand the pager back.
Infrastructure Assessment
1-2 WeeksWe audit your current infrastructure, identify bottlenecks, evaluate cloud readiness, and design a target architecture with cost projections.
Architecture Design
1-2 WeeksDesign the cloud architecture following AWS Well-Architected Framework principles with networking, security, and high-availability configurations.
Implementation & Migration
4-8 WeeksProvision infrastructure with IaC, set up CI/CD pipelines, containerize applications, and execute the migration with rollback strategies.
Testing & Validation
1-2 WeeksLoad testing, failover testing, security scanning, and performance benchmarking to validate the new infrastructure meets all requirements.
Monitoring & Handoff
1 WeekSet up comprehensive monitoring with alerting, create runbooks for common operations, and train your team on managing the new infrastructure.
Technologies We Use for Cloud & DevOps
Seattle workloads default to AWS us-west-2 (Oregon), the original post us-east-1 AWS region operated by Seattle engineering teams and the home of most local enterprise production stacks. We use Azure West US 2 (Quincy, Washington) for Microsoft-heavy clients and GCP us-west1 (Oregon) or us-west2 (Los Angeles) when multi-cloud is genuinely required rather than performatively pursued. Infrastructure as code is Terraform or Pulumi with remote state on S3 and DynamoDB locking, secrets sit in AWS Secrets Manager, Azure Key Vault, or HashiCorp Vault, and CI/CD runs on GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps with OIDC federation rather than long-lived IAM keys. Observability stacks combine CloudWatch, Datadog, New Relic, Honeycomb, and OpenTelemetry collectors. For data platforms we build on S3, EMR, Athena, Redshift Spectrum, and Apache Iceberg, which is the pattern most Seattle data engineering teams have already converged on.
