Web Development Services We Offer in Zurich
Zurich web work runs at the top end of European quality expectations. UBS and Julius Baer ship client portals built to FINMA Circular 2008/21 operational risk and FINMA Circular 2018/3 outsourcing standards, Swiss Re and Zurich Insurance run multi-tenant broker and corporate portals across DACH and the UK, and Crypto Valley issuers ship DLT-Act-compliant token portals from Zug under FINMA supervision. Our scope mirrors that bar. We build Next.js, Remix, and SvelteKit applications hosted on Azure Switzerland North, AWS eu-central-2 Zurich, or GCP europe-west6, with multilingual content in German, French, Italian, and English handled through Storyblok, Contentful, or Sanity, and accessibility tested against the Swiss Federal eAccessibility Standard eCH-0059 and WCAG 2.2 AA. Every build ships with a revFADP-aligned data processing pack and a FINMA-defensible outsourcing register.
Our Web Development Development Process
Discovery starts with a regulatory framing covering revFADP supervision by the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC), FINMA supervisory expectations for banking or insurance scope, DLT Act applicability for any tokenisation work, and multilingual obligations under Swiss federal language law for public-sector or quasi-public clients. We then run a two-week design sprint with the Zurich product lead and ETH-style technical depth review. Build phase is two-week sprints on CET hours with synchronous review for Swiss engineering and compliance leads, plus async overnight build cycles in Chandigarh. FINMA outsourcing register entries, FDPIC data flow maps, and DLT Act documentation ship as part of the fixed-fee deliverable instead of as a separate compliance line item later in the engagement.

Technologies We Use for Web Development
Front-end stack centres on Next.js 14 and 15 with the App Router on Vercel Enterprise hosted in Zurich edge POPs, Remix on Cloudflare Workers (Cloudflare runs a Zurich POP), or SvelteKit and Astro for content-heavy properties. Headless CMS uses Storyblok (Linz-based, popular in DACH), Contentful, or Sanity, with multilingual workflows for German, French, Italian, and English. Component libraries are built on shadcn/ui, Radix UI, and Tailwind CSS 4 with custom Swiss-precise typography (Helvetica Now, NeueHaas Unica, Inter). Backend services run on Hono, NestJS, or .NET 8 hosted on Azure Switzerland North (Zurich region), Azure Switzerland West (Geneva), AWS eu-central-2 (Zurich), or GCP europe-west6 (Zurich). Edge functions use Cloudflare Workers and Vercel Edge. Search uses Algolia (with Swiss data residency add-on) or Meilisearch self-hosted on Swiss territory.
